This page lists everything ToolGrym stores in your browser, and everything third parties may store if you consent.
Storage we set ourselves
| Key | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
tg-consent | localStorage | Remembers whether you accepted or declined optional analytics and advertising | Until you clear it |
tg-theme | localStorage | Remembers your light or dark theme choice | Until you clear it |
tg-scenarios:* | localStorage | Stores calculator inputs only when you explicitly save a named scenario | Until you delete the scenario or clear site data |
These values stay on your device and are not sent to ToolGrym. We do not use browser fingerprinting. Calculator inputs are stored locally only when you choose "Save scenario."
Third-party analytics and advertising (only after consent)
If you click "Accept" on the consent banner, Google Analytics 4 loads to measure page use and privacy-safe interaction events such as completing a calculator, saving a scenario, or copying a result link. Event names never include the numbers you enter or scenario names. Google Analytics may set or read identifiers described in Google's partner-sites policy.
If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may also set cookies to serve and measure advertising. Google describes these cookies and their lifetimes at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. If you click "Decline", analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded.
Changing your choice
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy → Site data) and reload any page — the consent banner will appear again. Deleting cookies alone may not remove local storage; look for a "clear site data" option.
